THE WORK OF DEATH. JOSITCA BUUXSElt. 3Ir. Joshua Brunner, one of our known and esteemed citizens, died morning at 3.25 o'clock at his home West Church street, in the seventy-fifth year of his age. Ho was born aad about one mile west of this city spent his lifetime here. He was tba youngest of three brothers. John H. died twenty years ago, and Mayor Brunner is tbe only surviving member the family. Mr. Joshu-. Brunner wns bachelor, a man of^anblemiEhcd reputation, tbe soul of honor, unassuming character, yet possessing all those which make aw exemplary citizen jood man. He was a fine scholar, being of very studious habits, was iaformedupoaull subjects. A pleasant companion, he had endeared himself large circle of friends. He never himself conspicuous in public life, yet was deeply interested iu everything pertained to the interest of bis native county. The only public positioa he ever filled was that of president of board of trustees of the old almshouse. The funeral will take place on
