Clipped From Reading Times
Found Three Months Afterward. In May last Charles Y. Levan, Howard Graul, Henry N. Schwartz, Isaac Maurer and John Faust, all of this city, went to Washington to witness the parade ot the Knights of the Golden Eagle. Before returning home they took a trip to Norfolk, Va., as well as down Chesapeake Bay. While on the bay one of the party wrote the names of all on a Blip of paper and placed it in a bottle. This was thrown into the bay. Attached to the slip containing the names was a request that tho person finding it should send it to any one of the party at Reading, Pa. A few days ago a Mrs. Copeland, ot Washington, D. C, was at Colonial Beach, which is about 150 miles from Washington, where the bottle containing the names of the f arty was found. In accordance with the request she expressed it to Mr. Schwartz.
