THE "SINGING BROWN SISTERS" OF MOODY Elizabeth, Bobbie and Bettie Compose Own Songs from Nashville, Tenn.. where they auditioned for recording companies. They made a master tape and plan to release a record album in June. They are now planning for an appearance on the "Haybarn, a program of country music and spirituals which is fast becoming to Texas what the Louisiana Hayride is to our neighboring state. When school is out, they plan some more auditions and appearances on programs Nashville. Elizabeth is a junior in Moody High School, Bobbie is a sophomere at Mary Hardin-Baylor College in Belton. Bettie is Mrs. Wilbur Aycock. All are active in school, church and 1 4-H Club work. When they find time from a busy schedule; they are available for conventions, banquets, and fundraising campaigns. Girls' Trio From Moody Brings Hometown Fame The "Singing Brown Sisters," are earning state and national fame for their hometown of Moody. They are Elizabeth, Bobbie and Bettie, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Brown of Moody. The girls started singing 12 years ago when the youngest, Elizabeth, was only four. Since then they have appeared on national broadcasts, radio a and television shows in Texas, Tennessee, Louisiana and other states. They were special guests at the 1964 World's Fiddlers Contest. They compose their own songs. Their favorites are spirituals and sacred music. Country and Western music also are in their repertoire. The trio recently returned
