Youth Goes to Chair Without Revealing Name (William Wagner, NY, 1927)

The Espy Files list two close executions of men named William Wagner in New York, both convicted of murder by Kings County courts. The first, here, was executed in 1927. The second was executed in 1928. (After some research, it turns out the second was a totally different man named Wilmot Leroy Wagner, who was indeed executed in 1928 for murdering two police officers, Robert Roy and Arthur Rasmussen. THIS William Wagner (whose real name is not William Wagner) died for murdering Peter Basto.)
