The Baltimore Sun got really up in arms about this one, huh? (I'm not complaining; someone needed to call this out. But this is the death penalty's legacy, so I don't really see what the "issue" is. It has always targeted the friendless, those short on resources and mechanisms of self-defense against the system.)
