8.17.2016 By Miguel A. Salinas Miss Waldo and Mr. Merz had an ideal job as their respective areas of teaching were related to REAL LIFE SITUATIONS.
I arrived to Gervais in 1962. Mr. Paul Reiling was the Principal.
I graduated in 1966 and was the only student of Mexican descent. Like Miss Waldo and Mr. Merz I also graduated from Oregon State in 1971; with a degree in "Elementary Education."
