MKS. A. MENDENHALL DIES AT AGE OF 77 Mrs. Alice V. Mcndenhall, .11 North Illinois street, for many years a resident of Indianapolis and for twenty-six years proprietor of tho Mendenhall Co. grocery store. 3iHH North Illinois street, died yesterday morning in her homo following an illness of about three weeks. Mrs. Mendenhall was 77 years old. She had been In good health until about a month ago and attended to the business in her store until about two weeks ago. She was for many years a member of the First Kricnrls Church and was an active worker in the Woman's Christian Temperance, Union. She served for several vears as a member of the board of directors fthe Indianapolis home for aged women and was interested in various other philanthropic endeavors. She Is survived by three cousins, Mrs. Marion Bradley of Newark, N. C. K. Reynolds of Portland, and Henry I'. h'ry of Chicago. Funeral services will I)-, held at 0:30 o'clock tomorrow morning in the resilience. Burial will bo at Richmond, Mrs. Mendenhall's former home.
