Frank E. Sparr (son of Peter M.) anniversary
College Open House Today Marks Sparr Golden Wedding Mr., and Mrs. Frank E. Sparr will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary this afternoon, surrounded by family and friends. Open house activities at the couple's 2510 Easy Ave., home from 2 to 5 p. m. have been arranged by their son- in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Donald C. Clarke of Torrance, and son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George L; Sparr of Norwalk. Mrs. I. C. Ltnn of Long Beach will assist. In addition to their two children, the elderweds have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. S p a were married July 20, 1910, in Canon City, Colo., and have resided m Long Beach since October, 1912. Masonic memberships are outstanding in the pair's affiliations with both belonging to Bettina Chapter, .Order of Eastern 5tar anc Nazareth White Shrine 8 addition to Ohio and Oregon-Washington State Societies. Mrs. Sparr also is member of Long Beach- Orange County Elect Assn. and her husband of Palos Verdes Masonic Lodge.
