at one Oscar Erickson SPRING GROVE, Minn. (Special)-- Oscar Erickson, 79, Black Hammer Township farmer, died Wednesday at Caledonia Community Hospital. He had been ill a year. Born July 21, 1880, in Preble Township, he was the son of the late Edward and Anna Erickson. He married Betsy Forde at Riceford March 30, 1904. She died years ago. On June 28, 1939, Srickson marricd.,the former Ida Wright, who survives. Also surviving are: A son, Mabel; three daughters, Mrs. Arnold (Bernice) U'iste, Spring Grove; Mrs. Paul (Janice) Groteboer, Rochester, and Mrs. Byron (Odis Vatland, Mabel; three brothers lenry and Edwin, Mabel, and iam, Decorah, Iowa; five sisters Mrs. Lizzie Pierce, Canton; Mrs Clara McCallson, Mabel; Mrs d (Dena) Kucler, Tracy; Mrs Thomas (Julia) Faa, White Sal mon, Wash., and Mrs. Joseph a) Norhy, Mabel; 25 grandchil 'ren, and 33 great-grandchildren, A son, two brothers and two sis ers are dead. A family funeral service will iaturday at 12:30 p.m. at Engell- Roble Funeral Home. The body vill lie in state from 1 to 2 it Black H a m m e r Church, and services will be at p.m. The Rev. C. Richard Johnon will officiate. Burial will be he church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Arvid Wiste, Coleman Erickson, Lowell Vatland, Jary Groteboer. Kenneth Erickson ind Orrin Wiste. Friends may call at the funeral lome here all day Friday and Saturday until noon.
