Mil ler, of Harrisburg, Pa., was shot and instantly instantly killed this morning by Samuel E. Albright, of Montgomery's Ferry, Perry county. Pa. Albright and the murdered man were both paying attention to a young lady by the name of Hammaker, who re sides at the ferry, and it was while Miller was on a visit to her that Albright deliber ately walked into the girl's father's house and shot Miller through the heart, instantly killing him. The murderer escaped to the mountains. William K. Miller was a citizen of Har risburg, his mother residing on Cumber land street. Deceased was a widower, leaving two children. He was an employee of the Pennsylvania railroad, an inspector and register of the coal consumed by loco motives, and was stationed at Newport, lie was a member of the Citizen engine company, company, the members of which speak ot him as a peaceable, worthy man. lie was in his 25th year.
