L. L. Jordan L. L. Jordan, 54, farmer al Powderly, Powderly, Rt. l, died at home Friday at 6:15 p.m., after n few weeks illness. The funeral, Sunday at 2:30 p.m., will be conducted at Palestine Methodist Church, where the body will lie for an hour before the service. service. The Rev. Hubert Cunningham and the Rev. Stanley Shannon will officiate, Fry & Gibbs making burial in Long Cemetery. Born at Blossom, January 9, 1904, Leonard Leslie Jordan wns a son of the late W. R. and Frances (Moore) Jordan, and attended Blossom school. He married Miss Bessie Mao Matthews, September 28, 1923, and they made their home -at Broadway, until moving to Powderly in 1930. Besides his wife, survivors are these children: Mrs. Edwin Weaver and Thomas Jordan, Paris; Mrs. Ralph Bolyard, Mrs. Robert Allison Allison and Clifford Jordan, all of Powderly; 11 grandchildren; these sisters and brothers: Mrs. D. B. Griffith, Mrs. Dixie Stripland and Louie Jordan, all of Paris; Mrs. J. M. Griffith, Muskogee. Okla., and Clyde Jordan, Lubbock.
