Cummins retiree Morris W. Norman Phoenix BROWNSTOWN - Morris Wayne Norman, 77, of Phoenix died at 2:55 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at Arizona Elderly Care Home. Mr. Norman retired in 1985 from Cummins Engine Co. where he worked for 33 years; He was an Army veteran of World War II and was of the Christian faith. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Spurgeon Funeral Home with Ron Plumer officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery at Norman. Memorials may be made to Liberty Christian Church or Liberty Cemetery Fund. Born in Noblesville Nov. 16, 1926, Mr. Norman was the son of Elmer and Osa Charles Norman. Norman. He married Wanda George Nov. 8, 1952, at Brownstown. Brownstown. . Survivors include ' sons, Larry Norman of Medora and Greg Norman of Columbus; daughters, Karen Alvarez of Phoenix, Brehda Hull of Columbus and Sandy Swanson of Chandler, Ariz.; a brother, Ervin Norman of Seattle; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. great-grandchildren. great-grandchildren. ' He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife on Dec. 23, 1993; two brothers; and five sisters. '
