HAROLD W. HILLYER MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP TOWNSHIP Harold W. Hillyer, 76, of 671 Greene Ave., died yesterday at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Mr. Hillyer was a lifelong resident of the township. He retired in 1962 as a foreman in the Middletown Township road department. He was a member of the Dutch Reformed Church, here, and was an elder of the church. He was a member of the Raritan Grange, Key-port. Key-port. Key-port. Mr. Hillyer was a member of the Junior Order of American American Mechanics and a member member of the Leisure Time Senior Senior Citizens, here. Surviving are his wife, the former Minnie Schardien; two sons, Harold W. Jr., here, and Ronald E., Campbell, Campbell, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Eigenrauch, here, and Mrs. Claire Par-rish, Par-rish, Par-rish, Mechanicsvllle, Va., 13 grandchildren and 11 great- great- grandchildren. The Posten Funeral Home, Atlantic Highlands, is in charge of arrangements. MRS. W.R. HASSEY SURF CITY Catherine F. Bergamier Hassey, 46, of 111 N. First St., died yesterday yesterday at home. Mrs. Hassey was born in Philadelphia and lived here many years. She had been employed by the Tuckerton Lumber Co., here, as a bookkeeper. Mrs. Hassey was a communicant communicant of St. Thomas of Villanova Roman Catholic Church, here. Surviving are her husband, husband, William R.; her mother, mother, Mrs. Catherine Bergamier, Bergamier, Monroe Township, Gloucester County, and a sister, sister, Mrs. Doris E. Costella, Trenton.
