Steven Madger obituary
Steven J. Madger Edison Steven J. Madger, 54, of 69 Evergreen Ave., died Wednesday (Sept. 30, 1964) in Perth Amboy General Hospital. Mr. Madger was a former township tax assessor and chief of Raritan Engine Company 2. He also was a former fire commissioner of District 3. A native of Keasbey, Mr. Madger was a general foreman at the Rheem Manufac turing Company and a mem ber of Perth Amboy Lodge 784, BPO Elks, and a commu nicant of Our Lady of Peace Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Agnes Kulpa Madger; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Zigre and Mrs. Irene Dudics of this township; two sons, Steven Jr. of Spotswood and Edward at home; 10 grandchildren; and two sis ters, Mrs. Helen Fodor of Edi son and Mrs. Ann Leske of Fords. The funeral will be tomor row at 8:30 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, Fords, with a Requiem Mass at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
