Paul Coy Boating Incident
FISHERMEN HAVE NARROW ESCAPE Paul Coy. C. S. YYhittecar and Sher'.an YY hittecar had a narrow escape trom crowning taturaay evening. The men had been fishing and hunting around Jimtnerson Lake and were clad in heavy leather hunt ing coats and boots. YY'hen they entered the first basin of Lake James the wind was lashing the waves Into white caps and before they could get to the hotel their boat filled with water and sank in twenty feet of water. All three could swim but the distance was far considering their heavy clothing and they arrived at shore exhausted and suffering from e-crosure. e-crosure. e-crosure. It was so late that no one knew of their danger until thev were safe. Heat and food soon braced them up and they were able to go out the next day and rescue their boat and guns.
