atj aj in Zerah G. Ashcraft, G6, passed passed away Sunday afternoon following an Illness of six months. Mr. A.shcraft had been in ill health for about three years and in May became quite ill and at that time was taken to tug at a to the home of his sister, Mrs Antoine LaPointc, where he wa: cared for by her until Mrs. LaPointe's LaPointe's accident, which occurred about four weeks ago, at which time it was then necessary to take him to the Mason County farm where he was cared for and passed away. Mr. Ashcraft 'was born in Elkhart, Elkhart, Mich., on Nov 1, 1873. in 190(5 he came with his parents, Mr and Mrs. George Ashcraft, to Amber township, making their home at Amber Station. He had never married and remained and 'cared for his parents until their death. In 1920 he moved from Amber to Scottville where he built a small home on Crowley street and where he had lived for the past 19 years until May of this year. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Antoine LaPointc of Scottville I and Mrs. Alta Garvey of -Pentwater. -Pentwater. Funeral services will be conducted conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Stephens funeral home in Scottville and burial will be made at Brookside
