B. Julv Relief M. I. \ Wyoming MARKERS HONOR ROUTE JMONEER P. Spaulding of Evanston, Dedicates Monument to Henry B. Lee CRESTON, Wyo., July 3 --CAP) A monument to the late Henry Joy of Detroit, who pioneered the Lincoln highway through Wyoming more than a quarter century will be maintained by the state. The monument beside the transcontinental transcontinental highway was dedicated Sunday at a ceremony presided over by Payson Spaulding of Eva Wyo., associated with Joy in laying laying out the route. Warren Richardson of Cheyenne, as chairman of the Wyoming historical landmark commission, accepted accepted the monument as a gift the state from the Joy family. The family was represented by Henry Joy of Detroit, a son, Mrs. Helen Joy Lee of Winter Haven, Fla., a daughter.
