Double Ring Ceremony Unites Janet Snyder, Rona ld Ma i ret MR. and MRS. Ronald Mairet (Bamford Photo) The Musserville Methodist church was the scene of the double ring ceremony which united in holy matrimony Miss Janet Colleen Snyder and Ronald Lee Mairet Sunday, June 2 at 2 p.m. Rev. T. Ray Crews heard their vows as they stood before an altar banked with ferns. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Samuel C. Snyder, Route 5, and Mrs. Eunice Mairet, Mt. Zion, Iowa, and the late Mr. Paul Mairet. Mrs. Herbert Toussaint was at the organ accompanying Mrs. Mack Sutherland who sang "I Love You Truly" and "Always". Mr. Snyder escorted his daughter down the aisle. She wore a floor length gown of silk organza fashioned with a scalloped neckline and full bouffant skirt accented with French ailencon lace, irridescent sequins and rose shaped appliques. She carried a cascade arrangement of while feathered mums with leather leaf trim. Mrs. Cranton Hunt was matron of honor for her sister. She wore a' lavender gown accented with white and yellow and white accessories. Her flowers were a colonial arrangement of yellow feathered mums with yellow streamers. Knthryn Snyder, sister of the bride, was flower girl, bne ' a white dress with lavender sash and white accessories. Walter Davis of Keosauqua was best man. Craton Hunt, brother - in - law of the bride, and Dannie Mairet of Lee Summit, Mo., brother of the bridetrroom, were in charge of seating the guests. The couple greeted llo guests at a reception held in Hoopes hall following the ceremony Mrs. Clarence Padget ol Keo sauqua, sister of the bridegroom cut the cake, assisted oy Mrs. Marianne Curry, sister of the bride. Mittman Silver Wedding Date Observed Sat. Mr. and Mrs, Robert Mittman of 1019 Newell observed their silver anniversary Saturday. Callers Saturday afternoon wore Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rogers of Muscatine and Don Rogers and Karen Kimball o Colorado. Saturday evening guests were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Frenzel of West Liberty; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Lamp of Sunbury; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Kohl of Muscatine; and Air. and Mrs. Henry Fromme of Muscatine.
