WAN Calvary YF Honors Grads At Banquet The Calvary youth fellowship of Calvary Baptist church honored its graduates with a graduation banquet at Sunset Inn Saturday evening. The graduation theme was carried out in the decorations, which were made by Linda O'DclI, Fern Jarrett, Phillip Campbell, and Phyllis Mc Cracken, Mistress of ceremonies was Miss Phyllis McCrackcn, who also gave a congratulatory talk to the graduates. Miss Sandra Schmitt, as speaker for ihe graduates, spoke of the graduates' thanks and appreciation to the underclassmen through the past few years. Song leader was Miss Linda C'Dell. Miss Barbara Tilman played a saxaphone solo followed by a vocal solo by the speaker, Rev.

Dean L. Sippel. P.ov. Sippel is station manager for radio station WDLM in East Moline, a member of the Moody Radio NeLwork of Moody Bible Institute, Chicago. Graduates at the banquet were Judi Sherman and Jim Gricbel of Wilton; Bob Lenz, Muscatine community college; Phillip Campbell from Monmouth, Ill high school and banctra senium and Julie Orosvcnor 01 Mu a tine high school.

Ronald Mairet (Bamford Photo) The Musserville Methodist church was the scene of the double ring ceremony which united in holy matrimony Miss Janet Colleen Snyder and Ronald Lee Mairet Sunday, June 2 at 2 p.m. Rev.

T. Ray Crews heard their vows as they stood before an altar banked with ferns. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Samuel C.

Herbert Toussaint was at the organ accompanying Mrs. Mack Sutherland who sang "I Love You Truly" and Mr. Snyder escorted his daughter down the aisle. She wore a floor length gown of silk organza fashioned with a scalloped neckline and full bouffant skirt accented with French ailencon lace, irridescent sequins and rose shaped appliques. She carried a cascade arrangement of while feathered mums with leather leaf trim.

Mrs. Cranton Hunt was matron of honor for her sister. She wore a' lavender gown accented with white and yellow and white accessories. Her flowers were a colonial arrangement of yellow feathered mums with yellow streamers. Knthryn Snyder, sister of the bride, was flower girl, bne a white dress with lavender sash and white accessories.

Walter Davis of Keosauqua was best man. Craton Hunt, brother in law of the bride, and Dannie Mairet of Lee Summit, brother of the bridetrroom, were in charge of seating the guests. The couple greeted llo guests at a reception held in Hoopes hall following the ceremony Mrs. Clarence Padget ol Keo sauqua, sister of the bridegroom cut the cake, assisted oy Mrs. Marianne Curry, sister of the bride.

The front panels of lace had tiny bows at the sides. Her veil fell from a forehead crown of pearls ar.d sequins. She carried white baby carnations and stephan otis with pink sweetheart roses.

The newlyweds greeted approximately 350 guests at the reception held in the church hall after the ceremony.

A four tier cake flanked with silver candelabra, centered the table. Miss Kathleen Kelly of Men dota served punch, Mrs. Joe Joquinta of Des Moines poured coffee, while Mrs. Ruth Nevill of Indianapolis, aunt of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Harold Groves of Des Moines cut and served the cake.

Miss Margaret Bayley of Des Moines presided at the guest book. Miss Miriam Little of Grin nel, Mrs. Robert Hunt and Mrs. George Wylie: of Des Moines assisted with the gifts. Prior to leaving on their honeymoon to New Orleans, the bride changed to a white and biue print dress with white accessories and pearl jewelry.

After June 15, the couple will reside at Birmingham, for 15 months while Dr. Nevill is engaged in research at the Southern Research Institute. In the fall of 1964, the newlyweds will make their home at 506 14th Grinnell. Mrs. Nevill is a graduate of Muscatine High, obtained her BA from the State University of Iowa, and her MA from Mc Cormick.

Seminary at Chicago. She served as director of Christian education at the Park Ave. Presbyterian church at Des Moines until her resignation June 1. Dr. Nevill obtained his BS from Butler University, Indianapolis, and his Ph.
