A layette shower honoring | Mrs. Paul Wayne Hicks was :ield at the home of Mrs. Wayne Shedd Thursday evening, Dec. 1, with 20 guests present. Co-hostesses were Mrs. Bob Smith and Mrs. L. B. Gunn. Special guests were the honorees' honorees' mother-in-law, Mrs. Paul Hicks and Mr. Hicks' grandmother, grandmother, Mrs. Frank Johnson. The guest of honor was presented presented a novelty corsage 'made of baby socks. Games were led by Mrs. L. B. Gunn and prizes were award ed to Mrs. Shedd, Mrs. Woodrow Woodrow Henry, Mrs. Smith and Mrs Debbie Polston. Mrs. Hicks was presented an assortment of gifts by Miss Judy Ellis and Mrs. Polston. Mrs. Henry registered the gifts. Refreshments of cake a n d punch were served with Mrs. Shedd serving the cake and Mrs. Larry Shoemaker presiding presiding at the punch bowl. Out-of-town guests included Mrs. Frank Johnson, Mrs. R. W. Lyerly and Mrs. Lonnie Wright, all of Leachville.
