Brooks services CLARKSVILLE — Funeral ser- vices.for Nina Floy Phillips Brooks of Bagwell were conducted Monday, June 30, at 2 p.m. in Jolley's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Davis officiating. Burial was in Fairview Fairview Cemetery. She died Saturday, June 28, in Irving Irving Community Hospital. Mrs. Brooks was born Aug. 31, 1898, in Charleston, Texas, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Phillips. She was a member of the Bagwell Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star and was a retired school teacher. Her husband, Harold Brooks, died in 1977. Surviving are four sons, Dr. Jim Brooks of Fort Worth, John Brooks of Austin, Dr. Ed Brooks of Bogata and Joe Bob Brooks of Bagwell; three daughters, Mrs. Gaylen (Bess) Simmons Simmons of Austin, Patsy Brown of Irving Irving and Mrs. Robbie (Brenda) Collins Collins of Dallas; one sister, Pearl Brooks of Bagwell; 16 grandchildren; grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant infant daughter, Harriet Marie Brooks. Bearers were Steve Foster, Joe Travis Kelsey, Lance Brooks, Russelll Collins, Brian Brown, Brian Higginbotham and T.J. Eddins.
