Served lefferson County as Treasurer 14 Years at JEFFERSON —William Nevins Sr., 1015 Center St., former county county treasurer, died in Fort Atkinson Atkinson Hospital at 10 a. m. Thursday. He had been admitted Tuesday. Bom Nov. 20, 1882, in Jefferson, he married Helen Wolff, Lake MiUs, June 24, 190T. He was in the insurance business for many years in Jefferson, served as ci^ treasurer for a time and later was for 14 years county treasurer, 1933 to 1947. Surviving are his wife and three sons, WiUiam Jr., and Donald, Jefferson, and Robert, Milwaukee; four daughters, Mrs. Roy Banker, Teaneck, N. J., Mrs. Robert Knutson, Knutson, Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Edward Leahman and Mrs. Louis Schweiger, Schweiger, Jefferson; one sister, Mrs. Edward Quest, Milwaukee, a brother, Leo, Milwaukee, and 16 grandchildren.
