to a member' an sworn Arlie s , Sid Levy, Lucie, junior be have for by Obituaries Moe Levitt, Businessman, 63, Dies Here Moe Levitt", 63, veteran of World War I of 2023 Woodland Road, died at 6:45 p. m. yesterday in Petersburg General Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Levitt was president of the Globe Department Store; he was past president of the Petersburg Linns Club, past president of the Petersburg Lodge of B'nai Brith, a member of Petersburg Lodge 237 , PBOE, and a member of the Will Rogers Tent, Circus Saints Sinners. He was born in Russia but had spent most of his life in Petersburg. Petersburg. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Muriel B. Levitt; a brother, Max Levitt, of Mexico City, Mex.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Milton S. Bolton, Bolton, of Petersburg; two nieces and two nephews. Funeral services will be conducted conducted tomorrow at 11 a. m. in the chapel of J. T. Morriss Son with Rabbi Solomon Jacobson, Jacobson, of Temple Brith Achim, officiating. officiating. Burial will be in the Brith Achim Cemetery. Members of the Lions Club are requested to meet at the chapel at 10:45 a. m. to serve as honrary pallbearers. HARVEY STRACHAN GILL Harvey Strachan Gill, died yesterday yesterday afternoon at his home, 301 South Jefferson St., after a long period of decling health. He was born in Chesterfield County, a son of the late Richard Spencer and Nannie Strachan Gill, and had made his home in Petersburg most of his life. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth Taylor Gill, of Petersburg; a son, Harvey Strachan Gill Jr., of Richmond; a. sister, Mrs. J. A. Powell; a brother, Dr. Rjchard S. Gill, both of West Palm Beach, Fla; three grandchildren; two nephews and a niece. Funeral services will be conducted conducted Friday at 10:30 a. m. at the grave in Blandford Cemeteryy with Dr. William B. Mcllwaine, former pastor of Second Presbyterian Presbyterian Church, officiating. The procession will leave the chapel of J. T. Morriss Son at 10:15 a. m. The family requests flowers be omitted. MRS. RUBIN WILSON TAYLOR Rubin Wilson Taylor, 56, of Pennington Ave., Baltimore, Md., died Monday night at. his home after a brief illness. He was born in Dinwiddie County, a son of the late John R. Latonia Bridgeman Taylor, and had made his home in Baltimore for the last six years where he was employed by Western House. He is survived by a son, Wilson Wilson Bernard Martin, of Sandston; two sisters: Mrs. H. Y. Loftis, D a r v i 11 s and Mrs. Vaughan, of Hyattsville, Md.;'two brothers: Henry M. Taylor and Howard W.
