the parlors SPEED AS CAUSE OF CRASH MILWAUKEE, Wis., Dec. 11.--Denial of published reports that the automobile of Nicholas Conner, Dubuque, la., publisher, who with two others was kHled in the wreck of car near South Wayne, December 2, was going 50 miles an hour at tho time of the accident, is made in an affidavit issued here today by Elizabeth J. Hirschboeck of this city, also was in the car but escaped uii- hurt. The affidavit sets forth that Mr. Conner was driving at a speed not exceed 13 miles an hour, when the automobile skidded on the very -narrow low bridge, overturned into a creek, pinning all of its six passengers underneath and drowning Mr. Gonner, his daughter and John Schroeder, all of Dubuque, la. -- oo -The
