THE GAZETTE,.EMPORIA, KAN. Eurekdns Return From 3-Week Trip To Europe, Soviet EUREKA — Judge and Mrs. George S. Reynolds and Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Whittaker, returned returned last week from a three- week Pcople-to-PeopIe visit to Europe and the Soviet Union. The Kansas group, which included included 35 lawyers, judges, a court reporter, former state law librarian and wives, left New York City on May 25th. The main purpose of the tour Church Society Meets HARTFORD — The Christian Society of the Hartford Cburch met in the church dining room Thursday afternoon. The meeting meeting was opened by singing "Work for the Night Js Coming." Mrs. Kenneth Breed had the lesson entitled "Heaven." She read two pucms: "We Arc Looking for a New Home, Our Heavenly Home" and "There Is No Disappointment Disappointment in Heaven." Mrs. Chester Rummel read, "A Little Boy's Prayer." A donation was given to the "Crusade for Christ." The song, "No Night There" closed the devotions. Cards were signed to be sent George S. Reynolds was to see the courts in action and to have professional meetings, meetings, promote good will and international international understanding. The countries visited were Belgium, Holland, Sweden, the Soviet Union, Poland, Germany and Czechoslovakia. The tour is privately-spon- Charlcs C. Whittaker sored and organized under the Goodwill People-to-People travel program. It is approved and endorsed endorsed by the nacional office of People-to-People, Inc.
