Burglar Put On Probation (Tlmtl Ixlweod CU7 Burem) REDWOOD CITY, Aug. 21 -William Studyvin, 22, 615 Bayview avenue, San Bruno, escaped a sentence yesterday on his conviction of a charge of burglary. Superior Judge Aylett R. Cotton placed him on probation lor year and suspended a 90-day jail sentence. Studyvin admitted entering the Thomas LeRoy home at 804 Lucia avenue, San Bruno last 30. Police said he attacked Mrs. LeRoy and was beaten off by husband. . The charge of burglary was reduced from first to second degree by Judge Cotton after StudyvWs attorney, 'A. B. Berlin, said his client "was so drunk he didn't know what he was doing." The attorney also pointed out that Studyvin had never been in trouble with the law before. A motion to dismiss moonshine charges against Larkie Tone. 52, of 402 Rio Verde street, Bayshore City, was made by his attorney, Garfield Steward. Steward charged illegal search and seizure in the arrest of his client. Judge Cotton continued the matter for a week at which time motion will be argued. Tone arrested June 14 after authorities had raided a corn whiskey still in the basement of his home.
