Pennington service GALVESTON, Ind. - Services for Henry Pennington, 63, Galveston R.R. 1, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Morning Star House of the Lord at Kokomo. The Revs. Marvin Price and Greg Reed will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery at Greentown Greentown with military rites. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Ellers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Henry Pennington Pennington died at 10:56 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 1989, in St. Vincent Hospital at Indianapolis. He was born July 22, 1925, in Grubbs, Ark., a son of Henry Price and Ruth Margaret (Sutherland) Pennington. July 1, 1948, he married Vivery E. Smith, who survives. He retired in 1985 after 35 years of service at Continental Steel Corp. He was a fabric welder. He was a member and deacon of Morning Star House of the Lord and a member of United Steelworkers Local 1054. He served served in the Navy during World War II. Also surviving are three daughters, daughters, Mrs. Steven (Jo Ann) Whitaker of South Bend, Mrs. Joseph (Karen J.) Moll of Evansville and Mrs. Jeffrey (Judy D.) Plaster of Galveston; four brothers, Wayne Pennington of Earle, Ark., Harold Pennington of Crawfordsville, Ark., Jay W. Pennington of West Germany and Anthony Pennington of Florida; three sisters, Mrs. Myron (Lillian) Piggott of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, Betty Davis and Mrs. Carl (Peggy) Neal, both of West Memphis, Memphis, Ark.; and six grandchildren.
