spent last Malvern. Mr. and Mrs. William Howe last Sunday In Coleta. Green and Lee Whistler spent Sunday at T. A. Scribner' s. . The strawberries are getting ripe, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Howe expect to move to Coleta about June 15. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Scribner were the guest of Mrs. Helde last Saturday jilght and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Long were called to see Mrs. Nellie florlaoher at Coleta last Wednesday—MrsrHorlach er Is very ill, and Mrs. Long Is at her bedside. Mri^ George Heagleyrtwo'daughters, of Henry Heagley, and two daughters, of Samuel Horning, all of Frederic, S, D.. are visiting relatives here. They have been in attendance at the Dunkard convention at Burlington Park. The Malvern school closed last Thursday with appropriate exercises The teacher gave prizes to the pupils at the head of the classes and to those who were neither absent or tardy. Many patrons of the school were present. ' . David Getty has secured a position in Sterling. >• Pearl Horning, of Jordan, Is visiting relatives at the old home. .
