IMartin Funeral services for Thomas •Tackson Martin, of the Ferry'Roarf, will be conducted tomorrow after- noon at 3 o'clock at the late resi- dence and burial will follow in Stokeslnnd cemetery. , Mr. Martin, 75. died at Memorial Hospital yesterday afternoon at 4:0a o'clock after an illness of one week which followed a two-months period of declining health. | Mr. Martin was born on Novem- ber 2, 1866, at Cascade, son of the late Daniel Livingstone and Mary Martin of Pittsylvania -""""-'"a «"»i<-"i ot ruisyivanii County. He had marie his home i, j the Stokesland community for the past 33 years and was well-known throughout that section. | Surviving are his wife, the for- mer Miss Clara Martin Richard- son, two -daughters. Mrs. H. B. Gravely, of the Ferry Road, and Mrs. Leonard Barber, of Stokes- land; five sons, William D. Martin o! Raleigh, Thomas .1. Martin, Jr., of Wilmington. N. C.; James Martin Martin of Fort Jackson, S. C., John R. Martin and George, both of the Ferry Road. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Mary Pratt and Mrs. Addie Per- rlue of Leak.sville, and three brothers, B. R. Martin, of "Winston- Salem, N. C.; John L. Martin, of Axton, and Robert Martin, of Cincinnati. Cincinnati. Ohio.
