Mission Fete Arranged By Hollanders Will Mark Netherlands Unit Anniversary at Lincoln Ward Chapel More than 1000 persons are expected to attend special programs Saturday and Sunday celebrating the seventy-fifth anniversary of the founding of the L. D. S. Netherlands mission, it was announced Friday by Frank I. Kooyman, chairman of arrangements for the celebration and former mission president A combined Salt Lake City and Ogden chorus of 130 voices, directed by William Koew, will give a concert Saturday at 7:30 p. m. in the Lincoln L. D. S. ward chapel, 2005 Ninth East street, while Sunday meetings will be held at 10 a. m. and 3 p. re. in the L. D. S. assembly hall. * Story of the establishment of the Netherlands mission, August 5, 1861, and its development, involving emigration of some 3400 converts to the United States and a L. D. S. population of '2100 in Holland today, will be outlined at tlu Sunday sessions. Sponsoring the programs are the Netherlands Missionary association, Hollanders' association of Salt Lake City; Hollanders' association of Ogden, and the combined choruses. A children's chorus of 100 voices, directed by Miss Marie Wiegel, will sing at the Sunday sessions. Similar observances were held last Saturday and Sunday at Ogden.
