Dcbra Sue DeAngelo, daughter of Mrs. Ccsare Paul DeAngelo and the late Mr. DeAngelo of Greenville, became the bride of James Ed Tharp at 3 p.m. Aug. 21, at St. Joseph Calliolic Church. Mr. and Mrs. John Travis Tharp ST. of Greenville are parents ot the groom-elect. Father Kraiik Corcoran officiated at lire double ring ceremony. Greg Grass! and Malt Casavechia, cousins of the bride, were acolytes. Mrs. Dave S h e r m a n , accompanied Mrs. Marianne Brown, soloist, who sang, "Twelfth of Never," "Wedding Song" and "The Lord's Prayer." Given in marriage by her brothers, Sandy and Hichard DeAngelo, the bride wore a candlelight silk organza gown with a titled bodice and long sleeves of AleiKon lace and seed pearls. The controlled skirt of the gown extended into a chapel train bordered with lace. Her veil of silk illusion was attached lo a Juliet cap lace and pearls. The bride carried a bouquet of roses and baby's breath. IJixJa Nancy UcAngelo and Mrs. Charles Signa, sisters of the bride, were maid of honor and matron of honor, respectively.
