Gene pans this parody of VALLEY OF THE DOLLS and enjoys the light Disney fare. The co-writer of the former, film critic Roger Ebert, would later co-host a series of nationally popular television programs with Gene; their thumbs are one of, and, at one point, were THE most recognized symbols of film criticism in Hollywood. Because Ebert was Siskel's rival at the Chicago Sun-Times during 1970, he is only mentioned in the review box at top left.
