Former Grove City Girl Married in Pittsburgh Her mother's wedding: dreaa of ivory satin and lace was worn by Miss Marian Whitehlll Carruth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Roberts Carruth of North Avenue, Wllklnaburg-, at her marriage Saturday night In the University Club, to William Edward Porter, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William Edward Porter of Turners Falls, Mass. Her veil of tulle fell from a tiara of seed pearls, and her flowers were white gladiolas and bouvardia. Tho maid of honor, Miss Elizabeth Ann Tingling, wore an loo blue satin gown, and a half wreath of white pompons with rose centers In her hair. She carried deep rose snapdragons mixed with white pompons. Old rose satin kowns with bustles were worn by the three bridesmaids, Miss Dorothy and Miss Virginia Carruth and Miss eJan Porter, and they carried white snapdragons with white pompons. Chester Porter was his brother's best man, and the ushers chosen wero David Evans of Pittsburgh, John We.rle of Meadvllle and Burton Krown of New York. After a visit to Virginia Beach, Mr. and Mrs. Porter will be at home In Hosclawn Avenue, Mt. Lebanon. Mr. and Mrs. Carruth and family were formerly of Grove City. The bride was graduated trom Grove City College in 1D36 and a member of Gamma Chi Sorority,
