Aivait Test Results In Osborn Trial Circuit Court Judge William F. Hood has postponed the Osborn Subdivision water pollution trial pending the drilling of two wells in the Osborn area and the accumulating of data from the water sampling of those wells. Following a pre-trial hearing in Circuit Court Wednesday, Judge Hood released the following statement: "By agreement 01 all parties, two test wells are to be drilled in the Osborn area at once and monitored daily for a t e s t period. "All counsel concerned felt it necessary that information accumulated from the tests be available in advance of the trial. "The trial was therefore postponed so that this could be accomplished." Suits pending in court, in the continuing tiff between about 40 residents of the Subdivision, and the Chippewa County Road Commission, who allegedly contaminated water ssources by the stockpiling of salt, include a suit filed by Basil Christie, et al, and a suit filed by the State Water Resources Commission. Both suits name the Road Commission. The Osborn residents have had 'impure' water for about two years.
