Yatcs, a planter Gravcley Hill, Yell County, was mur- deied by Grant Parent, who immediately fled and escaped, taking refuge in Boston Mountains. Sunday last he returned to the r.'Mdeuce of his brother, within a half mile of the scene of his crime. Monday a posse surrounded house, and ordered Parent to surrender, lie tired a pibtol at/the man who the order. The posse returned the ((re, putting eleven bullets In his head, a number in his- body. A reward of $300 had been oftcred for Parent, or alive. His body was delivered to Sheriff. '
