he her, a binds hearing BY THE CABS Was the Man Killed Whose Body Was Found Near Decatnr. DECATUK, Ind., January 13--[Special.] -- The deputy coroner of Adams county to-day held an inquest upon the remains of the found along the Grand Rapids road track, Saturday night, an account of which appeared in the GAZETTE. The man's name was Schieferstein, as printed. He was years of age and lived with his parents about three miles south Williams, a little station not lar from tnis place. The man had to Fort Wayne where he had some purchases, among them a of whisky, the broken bottle been found at his side. On his person iwas also found a receipt for last payment on a watch al Fort Wayne. When he left train at Williams he was and it is evident that he strolled along the track, li was shortly before train No. 5, with Enginee'r Anderson, came along. The engineer saw an object on the end the ties, and called tho attention the fireman thereto, but both to the conclusion, it was only from which the snow had melted. The man had evidently sat down dropped asleep. His budy was picked up about thirty feet from place where the train men noticed the object
