covered at midnight. The rooms of the Tyrone club have been brightened and beautified and now present a more attractive appearance than ever before. All the rooms have been newly painted and papered in the most artistic fashion. The furniture has been completely renewed and a handsome rug has been added to the reading room's equipment. One of the aiost notable improvements is the display of a number of fine pictures up on the walls, these having been present ed to the club by Daniel D. Wood Charles H. Rowland, Howard B Oalderwood, J. L. Mitchell, Joseph Wil son, the Brunswick Balk Oollender Co the Chicago, Burlington & QninoyR. R Co., and the Chicago & Northwestern R. R. Co. Awnings for the window have been ordered also. Secretary W. Howe has shown activity and taste in bringing about these improvements * which the Tyrone club is so much mor pleasantly and comfortably housed.
