company A NAME ON A TOMBSTONE. Gen. Secretary Rousell of the Fraternal Fraternal Aid Indicted- Indicted- Late Developments In the Richey Cise. Tw o bills have been found against Kdward Rousell, of L:t . ivnce, grand secretary of tho Fraternal Aid asso ciation, "for using tho United States mail for fraudulent purposes'' and "for atrempting to obtain money under under false pretenses." Tho caso will be heard in the United States circuit court in Leavenworth during November. November. The claim is made by several members members of the order that Housell made out beneficiary claim No. 8(1, pay able to Mary T. Wright, a sister of one James M. ltichey, supposed to have boon a member of Peoria (Kan sas) Council No. 251 of tho Frater nal Aid association, who was report ed to have died in lladitto, Colo., on June 3, 181)0. Tho details of tho alleged attempt to swindle tho order have been heretofore heretofore printed in these columns and all tho members in this city who read the Chiionki.k aro doubtless familiar with them. Tlie charges cropped out at tho meeting of the (etieral Council, held at Wichita, in February last, but Mr. Housell denied denied them and there was such faith in his innocence that he was re-elected. re-elected. re-elected. re-elected. Tho matter lias been kept quiet and but few outside of the inner cir cles of the order knew anything about it.
