C. H. Conrad Dies At 90 THOMASVILLE - Curtis H. Conrad, 90, of 1019 W. Holly Holly Hill Rd. died Friday afternoon afternoon at Community General Hospital. He was born in Davidson .County to David T. and Mary Hege Conrad. He was a retired furniture worker of TFI and a charter member, and the oldest member, of Grace Lutheran Church. He was a member of the LCA Class of the Sunday school, and a member of the Lutheran Men and a member of the Thomasville Senior Citizens. He was married to Mary Clemmons, who died in 1949. Surviving are his second wife Winnie Osborne Conrad; three daughters, Mrs. R. M. (Alestine) Tolen of Asheboro, Mrs. Paul C. (Wilma) Ward of Thomasville, and Mrs. Paul E. (Love) Gilliam of Laurel, Md.; two sons, the Rev. G. Dwight Conrad of Newton and C. Paul Conrad of Thomasville; 15 grandchildren, grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; six stepdaughters, Mrs. S. D. (Nellie) Brown Mrs. C. L. (Erlaine) Whitt, .Mrs. F. C. (Evelyn) Whitt, Mrs. I. L. (Margaret) Willard, and Mrs. Charles (Rhonda) Wilson all of High Point, and Mrs. J. A. (Frances) Hussey of Tennessee; and a stepson, B. N. Osborne of High Point. Funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church by the Rev. Hoke H. Ritchie. The Senior Citizens Club is asked to sit in a group at the church. Burial will be at the Emmanuel United Church of Christ cemetery. The family will be at Siler Funeral Home Saturday night from 7 to 9 o'clock.
