MRS. I. TARNER DIES OFSTROKE Cumberland Co. Woman Kad Been 111 at Son's Home But Three Days A stroke suffered last Saturday morning proved fatal to Mrs.- Mrs.- Ida K. Tamer, widow of the late Jacob H. Tamer, who died Tuesday evening evening at the home of her son, John J. Tamer, Shippensburg Route 2. Mrs. Tarner had been ill only the three days following the stroke. She was 75 years old. Mrs. Tarner was born in 1861 near Mont Alto. She lived her entire life in Franklin and Cumberland counties. She was a member of the United Brethren Church. Surviving are the following children: children: Mrs. J. T. Kirkpatrick, Fay-etteville, Fay-etteville, Fay-etteville, R. R. 1; Clarence A. Tarner, Tarner, Hagerstown; Lester Tarner, Chambersburg; Mrs. A. C. Schuldt, of Haekensack, New Jersey, and John J. Tarner, at whose home she died; one sister, Mrs. Samuel Pentz, and a brother, Clarence Fraker, of. near Scotland, also survive. survive. Funeral services will be held Friday Friday afternoon, September 25, at 1:30 o'clock at the Mt. Pleasant Church, in charge of Rev. Star-ner Star-ner Star-ner of Chambersburg, and burial will be at the Mt. Rock cemetery.
