Elsie Susie Jacob HOXIE — Elsie Susie Jacob, 90, died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at Sheridan County Long Term Care Unit. She was born Nov. 22, 1911, in Sheridan County near Tasco to Walter E. and .Susanna C. (Russell) Cressler. She married Loyal T. Jacob on May 14, 1930, in Colby. He died Aug. 16,1998. She lived in Sheridan County all her life. She was a cook for the school for many years. She was a member of Christian Church, Hoxie. Survivors include three sons, Dale, Deerfield, Clare Jacob, Sperry, Okla., and Loyal J., Lakeville, Mass.; two daughters, Joyce Gallagher, Hoxie, and Charlene Deges, Grainfield; a brother, Walter E. "Toots" Cressler, Hoxie; a sister, Florence Curran; 23 great grandchildren; and four great- great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church, Hoxie, with the Rev. Charles Cooper officiating; burial in Hoxie Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Christian Church, Hoxie, or the Sheridan County Long Term Care Unit, Hoxie. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie.
