Some antiwar activists thought it fine joke to tell reporters that Ken Hancock was the puppeteer. Another mistake here is that the puppet heads were latex rubber, not paper mache. (Ken, who had nothing to do with the puppets, was an organizer of Alliance for NonViolent Action.) A correction in the Ottawa Citizen, on Apr 6, 1987, p.2, named me as the actual puppetmaker and puppeteer.
