Patrick Beatty had his arm seriously burned with cool tar on Saturday night. He was pouring tar on the roof of a shanty when he broke through the roof, the tar spilling over one arm and part of his body. For an hour or more he suffered terrible pain. James Gildea, of Wilkes-Barre. called on his brother David on Saturday. Peter Sweeney, of Miner's Mills, called on-his brothers Keal and John on Welsh Hill yesterday. .' Thomas Comer burled his 13 year oldjboy yesterday. Interment at Welsh HilL, Thomas Devay and Phil Traynor have purchased the barber shop formerly run by Charles Sheridan. The schools of Plymouth township opened to-day with a fairly good attendance. . .
