Fred FOETISCH 1902 accident
Leg Broken by Fall ing Horse. Fred J. Foetisch, a farmer living near Carlton, on the Santa Fe, met witli a serious accident Wednesday morning. He had been helping Arch Piper drive a lot of mules to Piper's feed barn just nortli of Labette Labette City, and while returning home, when near the O'Connor school house 4 miles northwest of Parsons, his horse slipped and fell with him. Foetisch's leg was broken in two places. He was taken to the home of a farmer named O'Brien, where lie was given attention. He drove across to Eailton yesterday, a distance of 25 miles, and is now being cared for at home.
