Obituary THOMAS DIAL DEAD. Thomas Dial, 7M West Fourth, died Sunday morning at 10:45 o'clock In the Newman Memorial County hospital. He had been sick eight days. Funeral service* will be Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Roberts-Blue Funeral chapel. Rev. Claude G. Large, pastor of the First Christian church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Maplewood Maplewood cemetery. Mr. Dial was born'August 24 1882 In Wllliamsburg. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ramson Morris Dial. Mr. Dial came to Emporia Emporia In 1902. He married Olive Ingram, Ingram, of Emporia, on January 19, 1911, in Emporia. Mrs. Dial died November 28, 1937. Mr. Dial is survived by six daughters, daughters, Mrs. Orvllle Clinton, and Misses Anna Mae, Marie, Katheryn, Edith and Jennie, all of Emporia; three sons, Thomas N. Dial, of Jasper Minn.; John D. Dial, of Echo, Ore ' and Francis Dial, of Emporia and a sister, Mrs. L; F. Morse, of Emporia Two half sisters, Mrs. Harry Roles and Mrs. George Anderson, preceed- ed him in death.
