TODD SHIPYARDS WIN AT SOCCER BY 5-2 Iresi-dent a Keep in Trim for National Championship by Defeating Green-point Team. Todd Shipyards soccers, who will go to St. Louis this week to play for the national championship on Thursday, kept in trim yesterday by defeating Green-point in the second round of the South ern New York State Cud competition bv the score of 5 goals to 2 at Todd Field, Brooklyn. Moran. inside right for Green-point, was the first to score after fifteen minutes of play, but McKenna equalized for Todd Shipyards three min utes later. A penalty, converted by Smith, gave the Todds a 2-1 lead as ends were changed. Moran once more brought about an even score soon after the start of the second period. Todd Shipyards clinched the victory through two fine goals by Sweeney and one by McKenna, The line-up: TODP BHIPYD3.
