C. M. Selby Dies at 78 TRAVERSE CITY -- Charles it. Selby, 78, of 456 168th Ave., ied unexpectedly in Munson Hospital at Traverse City Sun- ay afternoon. He and Mrs. jelby had driven to Traverse ity to visit their daughter on-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lester 5xo, for the weekend. Born in Brunson, Mich., Mr. Selby came to Holland from Battle Creek in 1922. He had been employed by the Michigan Central Railway Co. for 21 ears and by the Holland Furnace Furnace Co. 21 years and had ired from active business in 1960. He was a member of Hope Reformed Church. He had served as treasurer of Port Sheldon Township for many years. Surviving are the wife, Agnes Murchie Selby, to whom he been married for 56 years; a daughter, Mrs. Exo (Marjorie) of Traverse City, one son, Thomas Thomas Selby of Holland; three ;randchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Nibbelink-Notier Funeral Chapel Chapel with the Rev. William C. Hillegonds officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Ceme- ;ery. Friends may meet the family at the Nibbelink - Notier Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
