Pa., October 27, WtS Abraham Foster Abraham R. Foster, 74, of Mapleton Depot died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 1975 at his home, after an extended illness. Born December 24, 1905 in Smith Valley, he was a son of Harry D. and Annie (Harshbarger (Harshbarger ) Foster On June 30, 1!% he married the late Mildred Coffman. Survivingarehiswidowand three children, Debra K., Barry Lee and Larry R all at home. One son preceded in de ?r- , , „ „„„„„ Also surviving are seven brothers a nd sisters, Clair R D., Huntingdon, Mrs. John (Mary) Romak and Mrs. Donald (Mildred) Stewart, both of Huntingdon; Frank, and Mrs. Alma Chilcote, both Pe ° ' ton, Del. The deceased was of the Methodist faith. For 30 years, he was employed as a kiln fireman for the Harbison-Walker Refractories in Mount Union. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army. He was a life member of the American Legion post at Mapleton Depot. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, from the Heath funeral home in Mount Union. The Rev. Clarence L. Chubb will officiate and burial will be in the Mapleton Depot IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Military rites and graveside services will be conducted by members of the Mapleton Depot American Legion post.
