Mrs. the bride's at- James Sonderberg. of Key West, matron of honor, wore yellow, and Miss Yolanda Wesner, Buchanan, sister of the bridegroom, was in white. They wore matching pillbox hats and carried white rosebuds. i BROTHER ATTENDS GROOM The bridegroom was attended by Ensign James Sonderberg, and his brother, Richard C. Wesner, of Buchanan. The ushers were Lt. Richard Coup, Lt. James McNerney, Lt. Ivan Joslin, Lt. (jg) Robert Pearce. Ensign James Townsend, and Ensign Hugh Tabb. BUCHANAN -- Ensign and Mrs. Ross ; C. Wesner, who were married Easter Sunday, are now residing 1119 Washington Street, Key West, Fla., after a honeymoon on Torch Key. They exchanged marriage vows during a traditional naval wedding ceremony in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic church in Key West, with the Rev. James Loeffler, performing the service. The bride is the daughter of Atty. and Mrs. Robb Purcell, of Ottawa, 111., and the bridegroom is the son of Postmaster and Mrs. Charles E. Wesner, 305 Bakertown road, Buchanan. The bride wore a street-length gown of Chantilly lace and chiffon over taffeta, fashioned with a molded bodice, with Peter Pan collar and long tapered sleeves. A pillbox hat of the lace and pearls held her short veil of imported illusion. She carried a cascade of white orchids. Gowns of mousseline de soie At the conclusion of the service the ceremonial arch of swords was formed outside the church at the command of Commander Leonard Kojm, captain of the USS Sea Poacher. The bride's parents were hosts at the reception and buffet luncheon for 40 guests in the Carousel Room of the Key Wester. The champagne tcast was given by Ensign Sonderberg. The bridegroom's sword was used to cut the three-tiered wedding cake. Ensign and Mrs Townsend assisted the hosts. The bride, a graduate of Ottawa Township high school, is a student at Marjorie Webster college in Washington, D.C., and will complete her studies there in June. Ensign Wesner, a graduate of Buchanan high scnool, attended Kalamazoo college and was graduated from the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md., in June, 1952, and from the TJ. S. Submarine at Groton, Conn., last December. He is a member of the crew the USS Sea Poacher, based Key West. : -^ MEETING TONIGHT GANGES--Election of officers is scheduled at a meting of Jill club tonight at the home Mrs. Kerneith Van Leeuwen. The supply shop maintained by the hospital auxiliary will be discussed.
