Richard Allred, Upland,has served on the Chaffey Board since 1961, and is seeking reelection. reelection. He graduated from Brigham Young University in physics, served in the air force and is active in the community. CAMPUS UNREST: "I wish I knew the panacea. The parents have the final control. We must teach our children to honor and obey the laws of the land. Fami- lies will have to become more involved if we are to keep the disturbances from getting out of hand. We need good training in the home." FINANCING: "I'm not a financial expert on taxes, but there are inequities inequities between .districts and counties and we need to come up with new ways of financing. WILLIAM BROWN William Brown Of Montclair is a systems and procedures analyst for General Dynamics. He is married and has three children. He holds a business administration degree from Gal Poly, Pomona, has served in the army and is on the Montclair Montclair Fire Authority and Parks and Recreation Committee. CAMPUS UNREST: ''Something needs to be done outside the realm of school. I would stress the positive. In a Democratic Society, it m u s t be stressed that we are responsible for our actions. There should be a known policy that if there are outbreaks there will be penalties." FINANCING: "School financing is chaotic, and it is not the fault of the local district, but is the fault of the state. I would call for a state reform in school taxing." G. A. CHALFANT G. A. Chalfant, Ontario, is chairman of the board of Pac- tra Industries and president of Trans Container Corp. Our school board and administration should make it emphatically clear that we are prepared with the means and the will to thwart unrest.
